The 3rd year of a head coach is the most telling... it'll tell you the true health of his program's culture. 2019 was Coach Orgeron's 3rd year at the helm of LSU. He'd been implementing his culture system for two years, but his players weren't ready to take ownership of their program. He kept waiting for a sign... anything... that would tell him they were ready to unite, stand up and protect the program. 

That sign came one Saturday afternoon in the spring in the form of a phone call. It was a quiet voice on the other end, but what they told Coach Orgeron was what he'd be waiting for... the LSU players had taken full and complete ownership of their program and were now protecting the culture Coach Orgeron had built.
